1863-CANDY CANE POEM

1863-CANDY CANE POEM

  • $4.99

The first candy canes were used as decorations as long ago as 1670, when German Choirmaster decorated his tree with candy sticks. The candy cane began to take its modern form in the early 1900's. Bob McCormack created the first red and white striped candy cane, which then began its status as an iconic Christmas decoration and treat.

The lettering in the Candy Cane Poem stitches out beautifully. It's a wonderful way to teach children about the true meaning of Christmas while they nibble on a delicious candy cane.

The Candy Cane Poem is for an 8 x 10, or larger, hoop.
