1980-CAT LA NUIT-IN THE HOOP

This winter, whilst the winds did blow and temps dropped below freezing, I was blessed with rescuing a beautiful sweetheart, tuxedo cat---black and white.

While I was working on this design, I decided to dedicate the design to her in celebration of finally rescuing her. I am so thrilled that I no longer have to watch her shivering in the rain, snow and freezing cold, 24/7. She is named La Nuit Ebony, but Plush Toy works, too.

She loves to peek out from behind the coffee table at me, begging me to play, of course.

In the hoop designs are such a blast to do and are very much like a jigsaw puzzle. I especially like including flying geese quilting elements, as it's a great way to use up scraps and I love how they look. In the sample shown here, all of the black triangles were leftover scraps from piecing binding strips together.

Cat La Nuit may look very difficult, but no worries! She is easy as can be, following the step by step instructions, with photos/graphics, which are included. SVG cut files, as well as template PDF files, are included for cutting out the shapes. An "audition" grid is also included to use in planning what fabrics to use in the various sections.
