1984-DRUNKARD'S PATH QUILT BLOCK - IN THE HOOP
Call it the Drunkard's Path, Solomon's Puzzle, Zig and Zag or other names used throughout the history of quilt-making, the pattern, or artwork, has been found on ancient Roman artifacts. It was even used in Prohibition era, in theory, to help stamp out alcohol consumption.
It's a versatile design, where it seems that the arrangement possibilities are endless. The 12-square photo shown below is one of my favorite quilt patterns, using this block.

The design includes one block. The photos show the same block, but with the colors juxtaposed. Another photo shows the 4 sizes available, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6.
You may want to buy all four sizes (discounted), in order to mix and match the sizes within a project, such as this beautiful quilt shown directly below:
